Autumn Currents

$99.00
Original Watercolor on Paper

One of my favorite painting spots for plein air painting. It was so cold today, though, I stayed in the studio and used one of my recent "sketch hunting" photos.

  1. Hi Michele! I like what you've painted from the river photos. There is a nice balance between the river and sky; a serene contrast exists between the blues of the river and sky, and the oranges and rusts of the autumn foliage. The s-shape of the river draws you in. Smiles, Cindy

  2. Hi, Cindy! Thank you for your comment. You have been studying your composition, haven't you?

I have been working all day on website maintenance, the blog, and trying to make it easier for everyone to subscribe to my posts. Not sure exactly if this is "easier" or just higher steps in the learning curve! lol

Thanks for your subscription, too, and let me know if you get this post through it. (I am still learning!)

I'm also working on setting up my EBay store. We'll see how it goes, with a learning curve like a double helix! I just want to go out into the studio and paint. In fact, that's where I'm going right now!

    Michele
