 What a lovely day we are having here in the Pacific NW! I have been relaxing on the deck, surrounded by my beautiful blue hydrangeas and can't wait to paint them......coming soon! :-)

It takes me back to another summer when I painted hollyhocks with a view for the annual plein air event on Whidbey Island.

We've been traveling lately, so my posts for the past month have been on hold. Now that we're home again, things can get back to normal for a while.

It's lavender time here in the Pacific NW. I hope to visit my favorite local lavender farm for a little plein air painting on my own. In the meantime, here's a plein air painting I did while on a trip to France.
