And hey, Ca...These daily doodles were fun to watch! And hey, Canson XL 140 is the paper I've been using consistently in my DIY sketchbook the past several years! As you said, it's not ideal for real watercolor painting, but I've been happy with how well it holds up to every medium I've ever thrown at it, including water sprayed on liberally (which is my fave technique with watercolor pencils). And I can do repeated layers of watercolor pencil (dry pencil, water, wait for water to dry, repeat) without wearing down the surface.
